Founders Rhi and Maddy loved the glow, and had sunbaking down to a fine art. But in 2014, Maddy was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma (skin cancer), and something had to change. There had to be a better, safer way to bronze – a natural-looking glow made with skin-first formulas, all-natural ingredients and no icky smell.
Spoiler: It didn’t exist. So they made their own.
